"In the BAFTA Television Craft Awards Aisling Bea has been nominated for the Breakthrough Talent Award for her work as the writer on This Way Up. This Way Up was created by and stars Aisling Bea. It is a comedy about moving on, moving forward and trying to find happiness. Aine, played by writer Aisling Bea, is a whip smart English-as-a-foreign language (TEFL) teacher trying to pull her life back together after a “teeny little nervous breakdown” as her sister Shona, played by Sharon Horgan, worries, not only about her younger sibling, but also about her own life choices. The TEFL school where Aine teaches brings together a room full of characters also trying to find their own hope, direction and happiness in this messy world. Happiness is a destination we all want to reach, but how we get there is never easy. This Way Up is a pin-sharp, poignant comedy which, with warmth and keen-edged wit, shows that the journey to happiness is harder for some than others. This Way Up aired on Channel 4 in the UK and Hulu in the US. It is still available on All4 in the UK, Hulu in the US and BritBox in the US and Canada. This Way Up was directed by Alex Winckler, produced by Gavin O’Grady and the executive producers were Clelia Mountford, Sharon Horgan and Aisling Bea. What are the requirements for an E2 Investor Visa?
22 May, 2023
The E2 Investor Visa is intended at least in part to provide a way for individuals from Treaty Countries to facilitate economic growth in the US. That is an important phrase and something to always keep in mind when looking at the requirements. The bulk of the requirements is intended to prove that the E2 Investor Visa applicant will run a business to do just that. While the list of requirements for an E2 Visa is very specific and all must be met, showing the US Government that an applicant has met all requirements is subject to a great amount of judgment. The US Immigration Officials seek to be fair, flexible, and uniform when adjudicating an E2 Investor Visa application. Make no mistake. The burden of proof is with the applicant, and the judgment of the US Immigration Official reviewing the application rises above all else. If the Immigration Official is in any way uncertain as to the applicant’s qualifications, then they can request whatever document they want until the uncertainty is resolved. The key to a successful E2 Investor Visa application is to understand or employ someone who does all of the requirements and how to prove the applicant meets them.
